Orders are shipped standard USPS, Fed Ex or UPS unless otherwise requested. Please allow 7 (average time) to 21 business days to receive your order (domestic). Certain items are made to order or special ordered so please keep this in mind. **** Please note that all Karo’s Shoes are made to order so please allow extra time for these styles. **** Express shipping is available on most items as an additional charge but please contact us first before placing your order to be sure express shipping is available on your items. All additional shipping fees will be billed as an additional charge on your statement. We will ship to p.o. boxes for an extra charge. This may delay your order slightly.

Please note that there is no express shipping available on footwear by karos, their footwear is made to order.

International orders will only be shipped to the same address as the credit card account.
It is our policy to verify all international orders with the issuing back to confirm the account information is valid. If your order is flagged by our processing service as being suspicious, you may be required to provide proof that the account is valid. No information concerning the purchase will be disclosed. Due to the high risk of international credit card fraud we must take these steps to protect ourselves as well as the card holder.

International shipping charges will be determined by weight when your order is ready to be shipped. We ship USPS priority mail. USPS is the least expensive. All additional shipping fees will be billed as an additional charge on your statement.
If an order is being shipped anywhere outside the continental united states and you are paying through a verified Paypal account, you will be sent a payment request for the shipping charges that must be paid before we process your order. No orders outside the continental united states will be processed until we have a confirmation from you that you understand these charges.

-Credit Card Charges-

When you make a purchase with a credit card it's just like going to a store and making a purchase. Your account is checked for the correct card-holder information and available balance. This then puts a hold on the amount of the charge attempt by "YOUR" bank. If the transaction goes through than you have paid for your purchase. If the transaction is voided or refunded by us you may not see it back in your account until "YOUR" bank releases the funds. Do not email us asking "Where's my money?", it is out of our hands at that point. Paypal refunds are the only transactions that immediately go back to your account.


-Price matching policy-

We will try to match the price of any of the items in our store (including shipping) to any other legitimate online store. This does not include ebay stores! Email us with the item(s) you are interested in and name (or link) to the site where you found the similar item(s) along with the shipping charges and we will get back to you.


-Discount coupons-

We offer many discount coupons that may be applied to your order for addional savings at checkout! They may be found in the categories section.
Please be advised that our processing system will void your order if it determines during processing that the coupons are not valid for the order that is placed. This is to prevent wrongful use of our discount coupons.

-Members discounts-

Request to become a member. Members will recieve an automatic 10 percent discount on all future orders over $100.00 excluding special and clearance items. This will be deducted when we process your order. Just send us an email to join.

Why shipping charges?

We try to keep our prices competitive. This means our prices will be lower in most cases than other stores, especially when you factor in the shipping cost on your order. To do this means sometimes not making a profit on certain items but we do so in the hope of gaining a new and valued customer.

Why we charge for shipping (special offers not included) on most orders: We get charged for shipping and processing from each manufacturer when we order our inventory, so if you place an order with us that contains items from multiple manufacturers that means we have paid a shipping and processing fee from each of them. With the low prices that we offer, we never re-coop these expenses. We offer buyer incentives for larger orders, orders from the same manufacturer, returning customers and discount coupons. We feel that our prices are competitive and are willing to work with you if you find a better offer elsewhere.

-RETURNS-

For special orders, we will be happy to exchange a DEFECTIVE or WRONG item only for the same item unless prior arrangements have been made before you place your order. Otherwise, no returns will be accepted. We will not be responsible for you ordering the wrong size.
Some items are returnable. If we accept the item for an exchange you will be responsible for all shipping charges. If we decide to issue a refund for an item after you return it to us, any shipping charges involved in the transaction that we have accrued which includes the original shipping cost to you and the cost of sending it back to the manufacturer will not be refunded. There may also be an industry standard 20% restocking fee on items returned for refund or credit. If you need to re-order the same item because it is not a returnable item, we will work out a fair price with you. In most cases will will exchange footwear for a different size if it is in sellable condition only if prior arrangements have been made for this order. Otherwise, no returns will be accepted. You must send the item back to us and we will send you the new pair. You will assume all shipping charges for the exchange.

Swimsuits, jewelry, wigs, clearance items, costumes, hosiery, lingerie and any items that have contact with the "private area" such as underwear bottoms or clothing with bottoms as part of the outfit (this includes dresses that include matching underwear) by law, are not Returnable whether worn or not.
There is NO returns on special order or made to order footwear. Certain made to order or special order clothing may be returned for credit or exchange only (certain fees may apply). You will not be responsible for the cost of shipping merchandise back if it was due to an error on our part or one of our suppliers. If we decide to issue you a refund or credit for the merchandise shipping costs will not be refunded.

-Returns-

Returns on unused and unworn defective merchandise only. Again, we will be happy to exchange a DEFECTIVE or WRONG item only for the same item unless prior arrangements have been made. we reserve the right to refuse any return if we suspect the damage, defect or mistake was not caused by us, our suppliers or shipping service.
Most of our items are considered SPECIAL ORDER except items in our physical inventory and are not refundable because of a wrong size issue.

-Cancelling an order-
If you wish to cancel an order after it was placed, email us immediately, and we will gladly cancel the order. Once an order is processed and or shipped it can not be cancelled.

-Damaged Merchandise-

Please inspect your order when you receive it to make sure there are no manufacturer defects. Please contact us within 24 hours of the package being delivered to let us know of the manufacturer defect. You will be given instructions at that time on how to go about exchanging the damaged item for another one.

-Out of stock items, Back-orders & pre-orders-

If an item is out of stock when you place your order you will be given the option of cancelling that item or keeping it on back-order. We will keep you updated on when it is expected to be back in stock. We reserve the right to cancel a back-order at any time. The arrival date that our manufacturers expect their inventory to arrive changes frequently.
Pre-orders: Most manufacturers release their items for sale before they actually have them in stock. We offer these items to you in advance as a pre-order. You may place an order for these items with the understanding that Darkside Enterprises has no control over when our manufacturers will have these items in stock. We will do our best to keep you informed of the arrival date.
